About Lars Lohmann

Lars has over 20 years experience in strategic business development, sales & marketing and operations management in consumer goods, publishing and reinsurance. He has lead the establishment of greenfield multi-million dollar businesses and has a reputation for pioneering innovative technologies and business concepts. He now combines his skills in business transformation and change management with carbon management, energy management and business sustainability in what he believes will be the major forces driving business innovation and competitive advantage in the coming decades. To deliver this transformation, Lars focuses on providing turnkey energy efficiency and production (Solar PV) solutions to his clients working under the motto,"Reduction before Production". This work includes providing both State and Federal government incentives. Lars is a preferred provider for the NSW Government's Sustainability Advantage Program managed by the Office of Environment and Heritage, delivering the Carbon Management, Resource Tracker, and Staff Engagement modules. Lars is also on the panel of experts to provide Business Services in the energy efficiency field for the Federal Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. In addition to consulting and coaching companies in carbon management, Lars is one of a select few accredited trainers in carbon management. He has also written three training programmes in Energy Efficiency which he delivers to both large and small organisations in Australia. Successful implementation of a carbon management, energy management or sustainability initiative requires their incorporation into every day strategic and operational planning to ensure they are embedded into the organisation’s culture. Lars draws on his experience in business transformation and change management to guide organisations through this transformation. Lars holds a Masters in Business Administration from I.E.S.E in Barcelona, Spain. He also holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA. Furthermore he has degrees in Carbon Management, Project Management, and Training and Assessment.
