About Lars Melgaard

The role as Facility Manager is a link between FM, People & culture,IT, Finance, and Procurement. Thus, I can work to ensure that the individual employee has the best possible workplace so they can deliver optimally. In my role, I work with strategic Facility Management, both locally and globally. This applies to optimization of office space, renegotiation of and signing of new leases, preparation of RFP, space planning & design, implementation of "Future ways of Working", build technical details in contracts etc. My background from the Service industry is a definite plus in this area, as I have an eye for both the detail, and the entire project goal. Other important areas of my work are Global Travel Management, ESG reporting, energy optimization, Gross benefit solutions, handling Leasing cars, Working environment, DEI projects, budgets and procurement tasks. As Team leader of 14 colleagues from Reception, Canteen, and Building Service, I believe that mutual trust, freedom to solve tasks, respect for the individual colleague is crucial for us to achieve common goals and use our different abilities to play each other well. Both for the company, but also so the individual colleague can grow in the role. I believe that I should learn something new every day and be curious, courageous and caring. Centrale arbejdsopgaver er strategisk Facility Management, både lokalt og globalt. Dette gælder både optimering af kontor areal, genforhandling af + nye lejekontrakter, udarbejde RFP, space planning & design, Fit Out planering, implementering af "Future ways of Working", bygge tekniske detaljer i kontrakter mm. Min baggrund fra Service branche er et klart plus på dette område, da jeg både har blik for detaljen, men også helheden for et projekt. Andre arbejdsområder er Global Travel Management, ESG, energi optimering, Bruttoløns ordning, Leasing biler, Arbejdsmiljø, DEI projekter, budgetter og procurement opgaver. Som Team leder af 14 kollegaer fra Reception, Kantine og Building service, mener jeg at gensidig tillid, frihed til at løse opgaver, respekt for den enkelte kollega er afgørende for at vi samme kan nå fælles mål og bruge vores forskellige evner til at spille hinanden gode. Både for firmaet, men også for at den enkelte kollega kan vokse i rollen. Jeg tror på at jeg bør lære noget nyt hver dag, og være nysgerrig på det ukendte.
