About Lars Peter Lennert

BIM specialist with experience in implementation and management of BIM processes and technology. My current role involves management and development of corporate BIM standards along with office wide support for all issues arising from the design technologies. I am lead for a highly skilled and dedicated CAD/BIM team, which provide streamlined workflows and miscellaneous protocols or guidelines for best practices for improving efficiencies and develop customized toolkits to enhance productivity. In this context, I am responsible for developing various approaches used to assure quality of BIM models in accordance to corporate standards and strategies - in interaction with project based ICT agreements. A profession covering development, usage, tutoring and improvement of new and existing workflows involving; clash detection, consistency control, model audit, performance analysis and various model review packages for controlling and assuring project deliverables. My goals are to remove inefficiencies in the usage of digital processes and techniques to allow project teams to spend more time analyzing and improving the data at their disposal and correct issues or make better decisions. Also, to help in-house design teams to create, take responsibility and foster greater co-operation between project teams (in-house and external) to save time and money on projects. I am determined to triumph and maximize the real potentials and benefits that the new technology offers in a more complex and collaborative environment. I indorse and promote utilization of BIM as a mean of advanced LEAN practices across all phases of project management. Specialties and skills: Advanced knowledge of Revit MEP/Structure, MagiCAD for Revit, Navisworks and Solibri Experienced user of Tekla Structures, Robot, AutoCAD, Vico Office, 3DS Max, SimpleBIM and programming in VB (C#, C++) primarily for Autodesk based API’s.
