About Lars Prehn

I'm currently playing with the network architecture and traffic engineering at Google. I had the absolute pleasure to pursue my PhD under the guidance of Anja Feldmann on the topic of inter-domain routing. My research combined the quantitive analysis of longitudinal, passively-collected routing data with active probing campaigns to provide new insights into long-standing research topics. A continuous discourse with network operators helped me contextualise the implications, importance, and technical relevance of my findings. I was deeply involved with teaching throughout my Master's and PhD programs. I co-organised courses about data structures, algorithms, and a wide array of networking-related topics-some of which attended by more than 200 students.
