About Lars Schmidt

I have a solid background in supply chain management, manufacturing, planning and procurement from FMCG's, medico, electronics, jewellery, pharmaceutical industries and consulting. Throughout my career, I have promoted the use of best-practice sharing. Implementing and performing Lean thinking methodologies and new tools to build a strong supply chain, operationally as well as strategically, in response to the pace of an ever-changing market. I have a proven performance history in managing CMOs and continuous improvement initiatives building and leading multi cultural teams. I work operationally as well as strategically with the ability to: • Shape the operational agenda to support business objectives • Drive implementation of key strategic initiatives • Manage/develop relations with stakeholders and partners • Drive knowledge sharing across the organization In recent years, my areas of responsibilities have developed towards focusing on supply chain footprint in the organization. To me the challenge and satisfaction is to create value for the organization together with colleagues, stakeholders and partners by recognizing diversity in people and culture.
