About Lasean Greene

In the early I majored in Theatre Performance and minored in Dance at V.C.U. I have successfully owned and managed a cleaning company for years post graduation. I’ve served as the Sales Training Supervisor for a major, mid-sized auto insurance company. While employed at Home Care Delivered, I (without a background in the medical industry, compliance laws, or their products) developed and taught a new hire training curriculum in less than 60 days. According to all learners and stakeholders, this training was one of the best that they’ve experienced…if not the best. In the Fall of 2019, I served as a Canvass Director for Planned Parenthood during this most recent state election. I ran a canvassing operation in Virginia Beach out of an Airbnb we shared, hitting all required goals. On a more personal note, I enjoy taking in new life experiences in order to add perspective to my life and broaden horizons. In 2005, I had the honor of taking silver in acting at the World Championships of Performing Arts (W.C.O.P.A. is basically the Olympics for performing artists). That same year I performed with a touring theatre company, cross-country. Currently, I am in rehearsals for The Great Gatsby, which will play at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts this coming March. In my past, I have had boxing / MMA training and matches. I have played in numerous rec leagues from soccer to skeeball. Currently, I’m in the process of learning Spanish and have started the path for learning to code. I am quite technologically savvy. I can troubleshoot most devices and am highly proficient with Microsoft Office, iWork & Google Suite. Concerning my work, I take a very logical approach. I make sure that I have a clear understanding of the material I am required to know. I ask questions to gain clarification if confusion exists. I take time to think about and plan my upcoming actions, tasks and projects. I work to be as transparent as possible, sharing calendars, end of day updates and reporting. I prefer to hold positions that require me to work autonomously. When I am given a task, I will more often than not be the one coming to you should anything be required or needed. I work to foster two-way communication with those that I answer to. Communication is one of the best tools for success.
