In my 23 years at Lowe's, I done a lot. I started off as a cashier. I was in that position for a year. Then from there I was promote to work in the Cash/Administrative Office. I was in that position for 4 years. My duties included preparing the daily deposit, research of cash handling errors and discrepancies, keeping up with the daily business, ordering office and store supplies and training associates. After the Cash/Administrative office, I was promoted to the Department Manager of Administrative. I managed Special Order Sales, Credit, Phone Operators and The Cash Office. As the Department Manager Of Administration, I also had to keep up with and process Payroll for 100+ employees and ensure the associates I managed were audit ready in their departments at all times. I had to manage the front end of the store along the side of the Department Manager Of Customer Service and Credit. I had to keep up with the store's expenses, forecast sales and create schedules for 100+ employees, payroll first in Staffworks and then in Kronos Workforce Central. I was the district 862/860 trainer. I trained on new policies and procedures along with new programs in Customer Service as the Department Manager of Administration. I worked in Installed Sales for one year after leaving the Frontend in 2012. I'm October 2013, I was promoted to Sales Specialist in Millwork. in Millwork, I was one of the top Sales Specialist in the district. I stayed in Millwork for about 3 years until I went back up to the Frontend as the Frontend Administrative Department Manager. Lowe's had a restructure in management and my new title became the Frontend Support Manager. I also worked as the RTM (Return to Manufacture) until that position was eliminated in 2020. I left Lowe's 2-18-2022. My goal is to be able to use my skills outside of the retail environment if possible.
