Currently working as Consultant Wellsite Geologist in Norway for Var Energi AS. I fulfilled the duties of a Senior Wellsite Geologist at DNO Iraq AS in Kurdistan Region, assigned to the onshore drilling projects on Tawke and Peshkabir fields. Drilled several horizontal wells for the production optimization development project. My experience with MOL Group covers participation in conventional and unconventional onshore and offshore exploration projects, as well as appraisal and development projects in Hungary, Iraq (Kurdistan Region) and Norway. Prior to my Wellsite Geologist career step I was a Senior Mudlogging Geologist at Geoservices (Libya), where I have been working for several major and local companies on various oil fields, on exploration, appraisal and development wells in offshore and onshore environments. I hold a M.Sc. degree in Integrated Geological Studies (Stratigraphy) and B.Sc. degree in Geology, obtained at the Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. Competencies- Quality control of mudlogging services, assuring and supervising cuttings description, gas quality control and Gas while drilling interpretation, oil show characterization, pore pressure prediction, mud-weight, weight-on-bit, torque, mud additives… - Quality control of and LWD (MWD) operation, data handling and presentation- Wireline logging supervision, quick look analysis, quality control. VSP supervision- Confirming coring and casing points and TD as per geological characteristics (cuttings) and well program. Proactively involved in drilling bit optimization and in giving advice regarding the expected drilling hazards- Daily reporting about the wellsite operations. Compilation of the final well report. Preparing the geological paragraph of the drilling program.
