A Treasury & Finance professional and a Statistician by education. I hold a first class Bachelor's (BSc) and Master's (MSc) degrees in Statistics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. With 10years of professional experience in financial services that cuts three financial and regulatory environments in Nigeria, United Kingdom and Canada, my expertise includes Treasury & Financial Markets, Balance Sheet Management, Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity Stress Testing & Reporting, Structural Market Risk (IRRBB), Financial Modelling, International Trade Finance, and Business Process Re-engineering. I have strong passion for programming and data analytics, and highly proficient in the use of Python & R for predictive modelling, VBA programming in MS Excel and Access for process automation, customized report building and scenario planning using the QRM and Empyrean balance sheet / ALM system. Having passed Levels 1 and 2, I'm currently enrolled in Level 3 of the CFA Program. Delivering effective balance sheet management & ALM solutions to credit unions and other financial institutions, I currently work as an Analyst, Treasury Consulting & Advisory, within the Strategic Financial Management (SFM) Group at Equitable Bank - Canada's Challenger Bank.
