As a soldier in the US Army, I earned strong leadership and managerial skills. Through discipline and excellent instruction, my leaders helped me to develop a team oriented work ethic and the ability to perform well independently. Transporting those characteristics into the civilian workforce following my military career served me very well by leading to satisfying careers in fields where I lacked expertise. I was afforded on-the-job training and professional development opportunities which led to excellence in customer service and communication.
