I'm a Customer Service Rep to IT Tech Support convert. I was trained to do Tech Support when working for Micros Retail. They believed in treating the customer better. Micros Retail configure computers, printers, scan guns, and credit card machines for Retail Stores. I was a Tier 1 Tech Support Rep, who followed KB articles for troubleshooting from installs to DOS commands. The best about this position is Tier 2 was right next to me, if I had questions and needed to escalate. From there I have gone to Work From Home support for Apple, to working for BeaconHill Staffing, who are great for finding me high-paying, more detailed Tech support positions. I'm now installing parts on the laptops and computers, reimaging, learning Active Directory, all while still providing excellent, attentive, remote support.
