About Laura A Moore

I am an Instructional Designer and Instructor with over 10 years of experience with the US Navy, US Air Force, and US Army. I am a Navy veteran with over 20 years of active Naval service. My background includes assignment as the Navy’s Course and Instructor Supervisor for Tri-Service Dental Training, alongside my US Air Force and US Army counterparts while assigned to the 381st Training Squadron at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. I possess strong client and interpersonal skills and am able to interact at all levels of management. I am also experienced and highly skilled in conducting learning and needs analysis to identity training objectives and identify target audiences. I have designed and developed proper learning solutions within instructor-led environment including eLearning, visual training aids and reference guides. I also possess knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. My experience includes skills in establishing program objectives and assessing progress toward their attainment, and I am able to plan, prioritize, organize, and direct the daily functions and operations of assigned staff regardless of organizational size. I have experience in targeted learning solutions to support leadership development needs and job skills utilizing specific standards, design tools and processes. I have worked with and understand the integration of existing emerging technologies to accomplish learning goals. I communicate effectively and successfully either orally or in writing matters of project status, timelines and key milestones to project and senior management teams and stakeholders, and I collaborate and work effectively with team members at every level to uphold an atmosphere that is focused on organizational success while demonstrating a strong commitment to organizational loyalty. I will complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology in September, 2015 from Walden University.
