About Laura Albert

Now with 10+ years of experience in the information technology sector I gained insight on many levels of IT services. Starting from Level 1 technical support in multicultural and multilingual environment I got a taste from many areas of IT like business analysis, application and project management, development and training. The keywords of my daily work are Agility, Quality Assurance and Knowledge Sharing. Some call me a maximalists, but witn an INTJ personality, I take that as a compliment. Currently I enjoy the life of a tester on multiple levels. I am responsible for managing the testing of our internally developed applications, building test processes from scratch and enabling their never-ending optimization. I lead a small but great team of testers on their way to reach professional perfection. Recently I am trying my wings on other areas of quality management, e.g. ISO and see where that path leads me. Outside the office I am focused to put my language skills in good use by improving Google's translation services. As a member of the Hungarian Testing board my goal is strengthen the local tesing community by participating in as many projects as possible, e.g. creating new syllabi, translating materials to Hungarian and creating not-too-tricky exam questions. I am also interested in numismatics, playing tennis and travelling whenever and whereever I can. I share my flat with a bunny, Hana, who does a great job with handling stressfull situations.
