About Laura Armstrong

I work at the intersection of community, policy, and leadership development in Central Washington. I’m a bridge‑builder who moves easily between agencies and community spaces, and a problem‑solver who turns conversations into action. I navigate across sectors, translate community insight into practical solutions, and help systems respond more effectively to the people they serve. My work centers on youth leadership, immigrant and multilingual communities, rural equity, education, and environmental justice — areas where lived experience and policy often collide. Whether I’m supporting youth leaders, facilitating cross‑sector partnerships, or helping agencies understand how policies land on the ground, I focus on building trust and making systems more responsive. My approach is grounded in listening, relationships, and collaboration. I believe strong policy grows from strong relationships — and that communities hold the expertise needed to shape a more equitable future.
