About Laura Aston

I have been based within the telecoms sector for 4 years and have over 6 years within projects/telecoms management. All my roles have had a strong and significant emphasis on billing, invoicing, financial data and contractual compliance. In this time I have gained promotion to various different management levels, and I am currently working as a Quantity Surveyor in telecoms. With my time at Svella and Comex, I was working on the VM Motif and Morpheus contracts, as well as having knowledge and experience of working on NEC Contracts.My role at Airband has now helped adapt the NEC way of working, with our contractors, and help reduce outstanding debt issues. I liaise closely with clients to resolve OOSLA applications, aged debt and Masterfile queries. I have worked on a variety of contracts for customers such as Virgin Media, Zayo and Community Fibre.I enjoy working in a fast paced role and thrive upon meeting deadlines and using my initiative to solve problems. My previous and current roles have allowed me to develop a high attention to detail approach, strong client management skills, and confidence dealing with a variety of staff from Directors to operational levels.
