About Laura Avellaneda

My mission is to identify and attract top-tier talent that aligns with an organization’s values. I excel at building strong relationships and ensuring high-quality recruitment processes through a consultative approach. I am passionate about finding solutions, I thrive on tackling challenges head-on and utilizing creative problem-solving to pivot as needed. I implemented an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), developed processes, and built an internship program from the ground up. With experience hiring across diverse fields—including life sciences, manufacturing, engineering, finance, marketing, and HR—I bring a well-rounded perspective to recruitment. My holistic approach drives the development of high-performing teams, contributing to organizational success. I was selected by HR leadership to participate in our internal Leadership Cohort. I gained valuable skills and insights focused on building effective and inspiring leaders, further supporting our organization’s growth and development. Currently, I am completing my certification in HR Management and Services from San Diego State University, I aim to enhance my impact on the organization. I focus on quality customer service throughout the employee lifecycle and I am dedicated to establishing a compelling employer brand that attracts and retains exceptional talent.
