Hi there! I'm Laura – an experienced administrator with a flair for keeping things running like clockwork, making both clients’ and colleagues’ lives easier and making a genuine impact to the organisations and teams I work for. I’m currently looking for my next role in a new field which will give me the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a supportive team. My career has been built on a foundation of strong organisational and communication skills, a flexible, adaptive approach, and the ability to streamline and build systems that ensure everything runs as efficiently as possible. Most recently, I have been working for Gate-A-Mation, looking after their maintenance agreements, making sure agreement renewals are invoiced, sent and processed and client’s service visits are booked in good time, whilst also handling client enquiries and coordinating the company's marketing. My work in the Maintenance Department resulted in us finishing 2023 the highest number of gate systems under agreement in the company’s history, which also translated to the highest annual turnover for our department to date. Prior to this, I managed group, school and corporate bookings for the New Victoria Theatre, Woking, one of the largest regional theatres in the UK, where I used my skills to improve the efficiency of the department, streamlining the process for group bookings, making the process easier and simpler for the customer, as well as improving sales by reducing the amount of dropped reservations and late payments.
