About Laura Bishop

Director of the award winning renewable energy engineering consultancy Infinitas-Design, where we undertake various engineering projects ranging from biomass boiler feasibility studies to full plant room design and equipment specification. • We designed and oversaw the installation of the first successful sewage heat recovery system in the UK and designed the system that won the 2017 Green Gown Award for The Borders College Galashiels Campus. • Troubleshooting & fault finding existing biomass and renewable energy systems, where they have been installed but for some reason aren't operating efficiently. • Chartered mechanical engineer, registered with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Over 17 years engineering experience with blue-chip companies including Bombardier Transportation, Rolls Royce and Babcock Intec. • In a previous role I was the engineering manager for E.ON Connecting Energies in Coventry for all renewable heat projects in the UK. • During my time at Rolls Royce, I was the fuel system lead engineer on the solid oxide fuel cell development programme. • As mentioned previously, I now run my own independent renewable energy engineering consultancy Infinitas-Design based in Derby but serving clients across the UK and Ireland. • Contact me via LinkedIn, email me laura@infinitas-design.co.uk or call me direct on 07813 069940
