Over fifteen years as a clinical scientist within the NHS, covering adult and paediatric assessment and rehabilitation and developing neonatal hearing screening and paediatric audiology service delivery. Consultant in Quality Assurance team for Neonatal Hearing Screening Program. Worked on projects with Department of Health and national school of healthcare science. Director for Education and Training on the British Academy of Audiology 2011-2014. Working as Operations Accreditation Specialist across the Healthcare section of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. Working with medical laboratories, diagnostic imaging, medical physics and clinical engineering, and physiological science services supporting delivery across standards including ISO15189, 17025, 17020, 17043, IQIPS. Managing an amazing team of senior assessment managers. Working with section head on budget, capacity and demand, managing complaints, development and operations. Previously worked as Senior Assessment Manager for Healthcare sector covering IQIPS scheme, assessment manager for ISO17020 inspection body care home assessment and awareness of ISO15189. Daily auditing, quality assurance, review, ISO standard mapping, decision making, governance, risk management, onsite service assessment, database and project management amongst other areas I am passionate about quality of patient care, always looking for new challenges, and aim to consistently provide best practice within my work. Patients don't know what they don't get and quality assurance and independent assessment, gives the best potential awareness for stakeholders, providers and patients alike.
