About Laura Brederveld

I started off my carreer as an inhouse legal counsel at @Capgemini, where I negotiated and advised on IT contracts, assisted in public procurement procedures (aanbestedingen) and was the go-to legal counsel for @SogetiAfter 4 years of inhouse experience, I became a technology lawyer at Kennedy Van der Laan in 2018. In my current work I continue to advise (IT-)suppliers. In addition, I now also advise clients in procuring IT-services or IT-products. The clients that I represent are from various industries, such as financial sector, food and retail, tech platforms, gaming industry, insurers, telecommunications, local government and public institutions. I enjoy working on matters that involve expertise and input from different legal angles, that require out-of-the-box thinking and a team effort of stakeholders from the cliënt's side and the lawyers involved.
