About Laura Brimer

As a Visiting Professor at Chamberlain University, I engage students in an online learning environment that uses self-paced adaptive technology to develop their skills in reading, critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and scientific reasoning. I coach, mentor, encourage, and monitor students closely as they follow timelines and meet benchmarks during an 8-week course. I also partner with academic leaders to develop strategies for success and report on student outcomes and data. I have a PMI Project Management Ready™ certification that enables me to manage complex and diverse projects effectively and efficiently.In addition to my role as a Visiting Professor, I am also a Program Mentor at Western Governors University and an Adjunct Professor of English at Polk State College. I have over a decade of experience in teaching and supporting students and educators in various modalities, from K-12 to higher education, from face-to-face to online. I have a Master of Arts in English and Rhetoric and I am a published author and a public speaker. I am passionate about promoting educational equity, leveraging technology to enhance instruction, and cultivating inclusive learning environments. I am currently applying to doctoral programs in Educational Leadership and Policy, as I aspire to become a leader and a change agent in the education sector. I am excited to connect with fellow educators, leaders, and professionals who share a similar vision and passion for transforming education and fostering a brighter future for all learners.
