My name is Laura, I am a licensed registered nurse currently practicing under the Nova Scotia College of Nurses. I am seeking a position that will allow me to strengthen and promote skills and competencies I have gained from my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am an eager individual, seeking a job that will allow for learning opportunities that will further improve my critical thinking skills. I am interested in researching and seeking out best practice techniques to optimize patient health outcomes. I consider myself highly motivated and take pride in providing above standard care for clients. I have excellent communication, and timely documentation skills. As well as the ability to work effectively both independently, and with a health care team of various disciplines. My goal is to ensure every individual, regardless of their social determinants, feels safe, and surrounded by a supportive environment.
