About Laura Carroll

I am an Office Coordinator at Kinetic Vision, a creative design and engineering firm that offers innovative solutions for a variety of clients and industries. With a Master of Music in Voice and Opera from Miami University, I bring a unique perspective and passion for the arts to my role. I support the creative team in project management, administration, and communication, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows and deliverables.I also have over two years of experience as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion at Miami University, where I developed and facilitated university-wide programs and initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. I designed and implemented workshops on diversity statements, DEI-focused resumes, and social media branding, and conducted benchmarking research on various DEI topics. I am also a Private Voice Teacher, with over 10 years of experience in providing vocal instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in teaching diverse repertoire, focusing on the work of underrepresented composers and musicians, and coaching and mentoring students for future education and careers in music. I am driven by my mission to champion the arts and DEI in every aspect of my work.
