About Laura Connally

With over five years of experience as a learning support teacher, I am passionate about identifying and addressing the learning differences of students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology from Utrecht University, and a Master of Arts in Special and Additional Learning Needs. My field of expertise is in intervention and differentiation, and I work closely with educational psychologists, class teachers, and parents to create and implement individualized education plans for students with various needs. As a learning support teacher at Vienna International School, I plan and deliver intervention classes in literacy, math, executive functioning, and social skill development for students in the primary school. I also support class teachers in the implementation of differentiated learning processes to meet the needs of all students. I use my communication, child development, and early childhood education skills to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and foster a positive and supportive learning environment for the students.
