About Laura Gerwin

I grew up in a classic surf town on Southern California's beaches and believe that life should be lived in flip-flops. In I bought a backpack, a Eurail pass, and a one-way plane ticket to Europe, unaware of how that adventure would change my life. In need of somewhere to store my things, I moved to my parent's new home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which has been my home base for an adventure ever since. I have spent the better part of the last 25 years crisscrossing the globe and collecting experiences on all seven continents. Travel is not only my passion, It’s my profession. From the airport of Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Antarctica's airfields and ice runways, customer service and logistics have become my specialty. I have guided groups and families through the rain-forests and ancient landscapes of North America to the historic huts of the original explorers in Antarctica. From ice-caves to mountain tops, I love helping others experience the joys of travel.
