About Laura Greenwell

What began as a part-time job in high school—stuffing envelopes and assembling sensors—grew into a lifelong career in loss prevention, and ultimately, into a leadership role I’m proud to hold today. I started at Se-Kure Controls in an entry-level position and worked my way through nearly every department—inventory, operations, purchasing, and customer service. That experience gave me a deep understanding of not just how our products work, but why they matter. Today, I serve as President and CEO of Se-Kure Controls, where we manufacture anti-theft security solutions Made in the USA for retailers, institutions, and public spaces. My goal has always been to build tools that solve real-world problems—whether it’s preventing shoplifting, improving in-store visibility, or helping a partner roll out a scalable solution across hundreds of locations. Profits matter—of course they do. But what matters more are people. As President, I focus on creating solutions that protect our customers and support our team. I believe good leadership shows up in the day-to-day: mentoring employees, listening to the field, and making decisions that prioritize long-term relationships over shortcuts. What sets our team apart is that we don’t just ship products—we collaborate. We listen to what’s happening in stores, and we respond with custom solutions that deter theft, reduce shrink, and keep people and products safe. Over my 30+ years with Se-Kure, I’ve seen firsthand how fast theft tactics evolve—and how important it is to evolve with them. That’s where experience matters, and it’s where our team thrives.
