About Laura Imhoff

With over 20 years behind the lens, I’ve built my career on capturing people and pets in their most authentic, timeless moments. As a portrait photographer and business owner, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless families, seniors, and beloved pets—creating images that feel as meaningful years from now as the day they were taken. I specialize in blending technical expertise with a warm, approachable style that helps clients feel at ease in front of the camera. Beyond the shoot itself, I have a true passion for the art of editing and compositing—bringing an extra layer of creativity and polish to every final image. What excites me most right now is exploring how emerging AI tools can enhance the creative process. I see them not as a replacement for artistry, but as powerful new brushes in the photographer’s toolkit—opening the door to fresh possibilities in storytelling and design. My images still focus on real moments and memories, not AI versions of experiences. It is simply another editing tool for my arsenal. At the heart of it all, my goal remains the same: to create portraits that feel personal, genuine, and unforgettable.
