About Laura Jennison

As a certified Scrum Master (PSM I & PSM II) and Agile Project Management Practitioner, I bring strong expertise in Scrum and Agile delivery across complex, cross-functional environments.At Center Parcs UK & Ireland, I work as Scrum Master for multiple digital teams, including User Experience (websites), Digital Services (APIs), Integration Platform Services, Automation, and Mobile App development. I support these teams in delivering high-value products such as the MVP of our guest mobile app, the new Table Reservations system delivered with SevenRooms, and our middleware Integration Platform Service (IPS).I collaborate closely with hybrid, distributed teams to ensure smooth delivery using Agile principles and the Scrum framework. My focus is on enabling self-managing teams, fostering iterative development, and ensuring we deliver incremental, deployable value at the end of each sprint. I facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams toward Agile maturity, remove impediments, and support cross-team alignment through Scrum of Scrums and PI objectives.To maintain transparency and informed decision-making, I use Jira for workflow management, Confluence for stakeholder updates, and a range of tools for retrospectives, engagement, and continuous improvement—including Agile games to strengthen collaboration.Before joining Center Parcs, I worked as a Senior Performance Analyst on the HMRC API platform. My experience includes performance measurement, Google Analytics, Splunk, customer insight analysis, and social listening, as well as assessing new digital services against the GDS 14-point service standard during Agile delivery.Outside of work, I serve as Chair of my children’s primary school PTFA, organising major fundraising events such as a joint circus, seasonal fairs, and school discos. These initiatives have helped fund projects including a new school library, forest school space, outdoor provision, sound and lighting equipment, updated smart boards, and subsidised school trips.
