I believe ordinary people can make an extraordinary impact—one purchase, one conversation, and one relationship at a time. As an affiliate with Better Way Designs, I get to do work that truly matters: helping end human trafficking by marketing beautiful, handcrafted products made by survivors. We partner with life-giving freedom businesses in 10 countries, each one offering counseling, education, fair wages, and dignified work to women coming out of exploitation or vulnerable to it. I love showing shoppers how they can vote with their dollars and make every gift or purchase count for something bigger. I also manage our family’s vacation rental at Friedenswald (Peace Forest)—a cozy, Northwoods-style retreat where I welcome guests into a space designed for rest and connection. It’s one of my favorite ways to practice hospitality and create meaningful experiences. My background? It’s as real and grassroots as it gets-Mom of 7 (yes, 7!) amazing adults and Mimi to 17 grandkids-40 years of marriage to my best friend—and I love coaching women through the hard things that come with long-term love-Homeschooling veteran turned certified Orton-Gillingham reading tutor, helped many kids find confidence in reading-Certified John Maxwell coach, passionate about personal growth, leadership, and encouraging others to step into their purpose-And years of experience in direct sales, where I learned how to lead with heart, connect with people, and grow something meaningful. Whether I’m welcoming guests, selling a Kantha blanket, coaching a woman through a tough season, or teaching a child to read, my heart is the same: to restore hope, build confidence, and help others live with purpose.
