About Laura Legnon

Laura is a Senior Manager in the Indirect Tax practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City. She returns to PwC after five years as State and Local Tax Manager at Dentsu, a multinational media and digital marketing communications company, based out of its New York City office. Prior to her role at Dentsu, Laura worked at PwC in New York City for more than eight years, focusing most recently on indirect tax planning, strategy, and audit defense as well as advising clients on state and local tax implications of corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. She led multistate tax planning efforts, including due diligences, restructurings, bankruptcies, and integrations, for domestic and multinational companies. Laura advised private equity and strategic clients on technical state and local tax issues, focusing especially on income/franchise tax and sales and use tax, in a wide range of industries, including retail, media and digital marketing, publishing, banking and financial services, asset management, energy, technology, and healthcare. Laura has experience with a variety of projects, including state and local tax planning, compliance, due diligence reviews, tax exposure reviews, tax reserve reviews, apportionment studies, nexus studies, multistate tax determination studies, ruling requests, audit defense, refund claims, and voluntary disclosure agreements.
