I have been an RN for 30 years with experience at the bedside and managing, as well as pre-hospital and correctional. I enjoy working with people and am able to handle any pace thrown my way. I worked in a long term acute care hospital that takes care of patients that are dealing with chronically critical illness syndrome and managing those illnesses ranging from serious debilitating wounds to respiratory infections and failure. We do ventilatory weaning with endotracheal tubes and tracheal tubes. We also manage critical drips if necessary on our more critical patients, or place patients on comfort care and assist in the dying process. It's a full range unit. I would like to get my BSN. I've been an ACLS and BLS instructor, as well as EMT instructor. I have been CCRN and CMSRN certified when working in those areas.
