I'm an experienced educator of students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. My teaching practice prioritizes inquiry-based learning in an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment where students are given the tools to thrive. I have served in the dual roles of visual art program director and full-time art educator since 2014. Additionally, I teach elementary health studies and have taught courses in English, French, learning strategies and language arts. I serve as a member of Eyelevel artist-run center's board of directors and programming committee. I represented Eyelevel as a delegate in the Artist-run Center and Collectives Association of Canada (ARCCA) conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba in autumn, 2023. I also serve on the programming committee with Visual Arts Nova Scotia. Alongside my teaching practice, I am a visual artist based in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Nova Scotia.
