Background

About Laura Munoz

I am currently a sophomore at Quinnipiac University, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science and minor in Spanish, with plans of attending PA School. I would like to pursue a career to study oncology. I have always had a passion and love for cancer patients, especially children. Cancer has impacted my family and close family friends in many ways and I would like to work and be able to help those in such positions. Being bilingual has impacted me and my education career, I am able to speak, read, and write in both Spanish and English, which has helped serve as a translator on many occasions. I believe that for the medical field it is very important to have good communication skills to interact with patients. I am also very organized and get all my tasks done on time. I believe that the skills that I carry are very important to have especially in a medical workspace in which patients need multiple cares. Along with being organized, I am also very patient and I like to comfort people when they are upset.
