About Laura Nagy

I am an ambitious professional with critical thinking proficiency and an extensive background in Learning and Development. The interests of students and instructors are at the forefront of my decisions. Having an aptitude for personnel development and impacting people, I am able to visualize success and identify highly effective strategies for achieving it. I possess 12 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a heavy focus on leadership, instruction and facilitation (Instructor-Led Training and Virtual Instructor Led Training), curriculum development, and instructor development. I am a certified instructor including several formal training certifications from the Department of Homeland Security. Previously in my role as a Supervisory National Training Instructor with the Department of Homeland Security, I was widely recognized as a top-performer, not only for instruction, but also my contributions to program and instructor development. It was that consistent excellence that allowed me to continue with a curriculum development and instructor development role in each of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center locations.
