About Laura Pinto

Based in Johannesburg, Laura Pinto is the Professional Services Leader and Consumer Co-Lead, for Africa. She brings extensive experience across Executive Search and Leadership Development, having worked for the firm in the UK and in Africa. Laura joined Egon Zehnder in 2008, spending the first 4 years in the London office. Here she specialised in Leadership Assessment and Development, where she project managed global assignments, focusing on talent appraisal and succession. In 2012, Laura co-led the opening of the firms Africa office in Johannesburg, establishing a physical presence on the continent off the back of 20 years of ongoing activities. For 6 years she was the Head of Research for Africa, with a focus on Consumer, Retail and Professional Services clients. Prior to joining the firm, Laura spent time at Barclays, PwC and at an IT consulting startup in in London. Laura earned a BCom in Management and Information Systems from Rhodes University, and a BCom Honours in Information Systems from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is currently studying for an MBA degree at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg.
