About Laura Puletti

I hold a Master’s in International Political Sciences and have completed 41 technical courses in Gender, Knowledge Management, and Business Performance—including international trainings—to better support inclusive, sustainable, and transformative food systems. With 43 field missions across Asia, Africa, and Latin America (leading 16—including Iran, Haiti, Central Asia, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Republic of Congo, and Niger), I’ve worked to improve grant portfolio performance, address gaps in knowledge exchange and gender inclusion, strengthen grants–loans linkages, and promote the scaling-up of successful results. 🧩 My strengths include designing and managing rural development grants, implementing KM strategies, and organizing international workshops and learning events. I’ve reviewed grant design documents, conducted supervision, and contributed analytical inputs to divisional performance reviews. I also supported quality assurance, brief preparation, and KM product development—recently focusing on training and mentorship to support IFAD’s decentralization. 🤝 Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I’ve built strong partnerships with Governments, NGOs, MDBs, Research Centers such as ICARDA, CIAT, and CIFOR-ICRAF, Farmers Organisations, beneficiaries and the private sector —also contributing to resource mobilization. I thrive in multicultural, fast-paced, and collaborative environments. Passionate about supporting communities and advancing social equity. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, art, travel, swimming, cycling and tennis.
