Background
About Laura Purcell
A passionate public servant, dedicated to ensuring our little wedge of the NSW Government operates with sensibility, integrity, and an appropriate dose of good humour when needed. As a people leader, my north star will always be developing a team environment that empowers staff to be good at what they do and enjoy themselves while they do it. With a background in communications, grants administration, and a specialty for establishing teams from the ground up, my career journey led me to the NSW Environmental Trust in 2022. As Manager Contestable Grants, I am always learning something new about how the government works, and am impressed daily with how our grantees are gradually changing their corners of the planet for the better.
