About Laura Ross

With over eight years of experience, I bring a strong foundation in STEM education, career readiness, and program leadership to my current role as Senior Program Director of STEM College and Career Readiness at Girls Inc. of the Valley. Passionate about empowering youth, I am committed to fostering equitable access to education and career opportunities. I collaborate with a diverse team to create impactful programs that inspire and prepare students for success in STEM fields, and my approach integrates inclusivity, innovation, and a focus on community-driven outcomes. At Girls Inc. of the Valley, I lead initiatives aimed at enhancing college and career readiness for girls and gender expansive youth. This includes overseeing grant reporting, developing strategic programs, and fostering partnerships to expand opportunities for students. My previous role as Assistant Director and STEM Career Coach at the Western New England University Career Center honed my expertise in career coaching, workshop facilitation, and event management, skills I now leverage to drive meaningful change in my current position.
