About Laura Ruddick

It is through experience and my knowledge of the Principles of Learning and Teaching that I have developed my personal education philosophy based on three core values; high quality differentiated teaching, positive relationships and high expectations. To ensure the success of all students, I strive to implement engaging curriculum opportunities for individual learning needs and to nurture positive relationships between teachers, the principal class team and students. I encourage self-motivation, independence and reflection from both teachers and students. I have extensive experience in designing and implementing pedagogical frameworks as well as the implementation of School Wide Positive Behaviour Framework in Secondary schools. I pride myself in my relationships with others and the importance of this as a leader in an organisation.
