About Laura Ryckman

With over 30 years of experience in Ontario’s public education system, I am a dedicated and experienced school leader, program developer, and instructional coach. My work focuses on supporting educators in their professional growth by fostering reflective practice, encouraging innovation, and guiding staff to meet the diverse academic and well-being needs of all students. Throughout my career, I have built strong, collaborative relationships with staff, students, families, and fellow school leaders. I am known for my ability to develop and lead high-performing teams that work together to implement strategic, student-centered initiatives. In addition to my leadership in K–12 education, I contribute to post-secondary education by mentoring emerging teachers and helping to build the capacity of experienced mentors. My work continues to center on creating inclusive, collaborative learning environments that support excellence in teaching and learning at all levels.
