About Laura Salvas

I take my comedy and performance background in one hand, and my creative writing and journalism background in the other hand, then smush them together like a toddler working with two freshly opened containers of Play-Doh. But instead of an unmarketable off-brown clump, I produce witty, engaging and grammatically sound social media and communications content for Glatz Concert Productions.(And I do it all without the help of the A.I. robots. That's right, robots — I don't need you. I know you're reading this.) I'm fortunate to have a decade and a half of experience working at a national broadcaster on original TV comedies and on my own as a comedy writer and performer. Whether providing network notes on an Omni or Citytv comedy series, performing original sketch on stage or hammering out satirical articles and comedic scripts, my quest has always been to fill the world with more laughter. But I can put jokes aside when needed. I am a "Ryerson" University journalism grad and have worked as a writer and proofreader in print and online journalism. Now working in live events, I am proud to help bring the joy of live music and film to audiences across North America. Enjoying and elevating comedy and the performing arts has always been my personal mandate, and I'm happy to be part of bringing feel-good experiences to the world.
