Background
About Laura Singline
I graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in 2019. I have several years' experience overseeing and managing all phases of research projects, from initial planning through to implementation and analysis. I have a particular interest in the social sciences and qualitative research, and have expertise in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and leading stakeholder engagement. Key skills and experience include: Project planning: Assisting in the development of detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocation strategies to ensure research projects are completed on-time and on-budget. Data management: Overseeing data collection, management and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability while maintaining compliance with ethics and governance requirements. Stakeholder communication: Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project and progress updates and facilitating communication between research teams. Reporting and documentation: Producing comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders (including government), summarising research findings and methodologies. I also assist in preparing meeting agendas and other documentation, as well as writing meeting minutes. In addition, I have experience authoring and contributing to research papers, from conceptualising ideas to drafting, revising and finalising manuscripts for publication. I have contributed to the development and revision of NHMRC Clinical Practice Guidelines, ensuring that research findings are effectively translated into actionable, evidence-based recommendations that influence policy and improve health systems and patient outcomes.
