About Laura Small

I currently work on data strategy and EV detection on the Vehicle Grid Integration team at PG & E. Previously as a Lead Data Scientist at Opinion Dynamics, I led technical projects that quantified utility program impacts, estimated program potential, and drove market change. With more than ten years of energy experience and six years of experience in data science and analysis, I have developed extensive skills and knowledge in smart meter data, data-driven impact evaluations, load shape analytics, and segmentation studies. I have applied these skills to dozens of studies on energy efficiency, pricing, demand response, and behavioral programs, as well as emerging areas such as electric vehicle load impact and zero net energy homes. My work contributes to the advancement of clean energy.
