Background
About Laura Stronach
I’m a feminist leader, and VAWG specialist with a rich background spanning entrepreneurship, healthcare, and social services. For the past eight years, I’ve led Shetland Women’s Aid, working at the intersection of trauma, community, and systemic change. I was raised in a strict Brethren culture where gender roles were rigid and celebrated. That experience shaped me and fuels my mission to dismantle the structural and cultural roots of inequality. Now training as a coach through an accredited programme, I’m developing my practice to support women in reclaiming voice, confidence, and power. I’m also passionate about engaging men and boys in the vital work of ending gender-based violence. I’m currently seeking practice clients who are ready to explore meaningful change, whether personal, professional, or societal. If that’s you, let’s connect!
