In addition, an academic background in Languages, International Relations and Cultural Anthropology, as well as many years studying and living overseas, has opened cultural doors often closed to many. RESPONSIBILITIES include: • Research, guiding and commentary on the customs, culture, and history of the countries traveled. • Organising unique experiences to engage clients and create excitement about the destination. • Independently and confidently managing tours of any size and duration. • Reconfirmation and implementation of all tour components with suppliers and ground handlers. • Responsibility for company expenses, managing floats and taking client payments. • Building relationships with local contacts and discovering new destinations, suppliers and itineraries. • Diplomatic and professional management of any situation or unforeseen emergency. • Promoting and documenting travel destinations and tours through blogging, video and photography.
