I am currently working for the HSE as a Grade 4 Registrar. I also worked in the civil service with the Department of Social Protection while completing my second year of my accounting technician course with Accounting Technicians Ireland. I took part in many training courses during my time in DEASP in order to able to do my job to the best of my ability. It is essential in my role that the information that we hold about our customers is as accurate as possible. Being aware of data protection laws and keeping a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is a key aspect of my job. With Bus Eireann, the emphasis was on making sure the customers got accurate information at the right time while also ensuring the best customer care. There was also a lot of clerical work involved. I have worked with Blue Square Marketing as an in-store development Executive where I learned the importance of reaching KPIs. It was also necessary to train staff instore with the newest developments in Samsung Technology. I also worked as an intern with Truzees. Truzees is a company based in Tullamore. Truzees is a baby gift company that focuses on the unconventional milestones of parenting and celebrates them. While working with the company, it was of the utmost importance that I had an extensive knowledge of the business and its products. in order to have the ability to sell efficiently and work towards increasing brand loyalty. I was very much involved in the general behind the scenes running of Truzees' events as well as overseeing sales and social media. The events were held in conjunction with sponsors such as Holos Skincare, Sudocrem, Nurofen and Revlon. Grace of FacesbyGrace fame also was a guest speaker at the event.
