About Laura Vasquez

My name is Laura and I'm delighted to introduce myself. I have over 20 years applying my skills to Administrative Services, Operations Project Management, and Customer Service within Government entities. I apply Six Sigma techniques and tools to improve processes and create statistical quality management methods. I'm a firm believer that communication is the key to a unit's success. I enjoy creating informative graphic training material and contributing to the on-boarding process for new employees. I can adapt to any environment with very little supervision. My passion is to visualize a problem and create the solution for the organization. One of my greatest accomplishments was to convert a jail systems medical supply chain into a Central Medical Supply Unit. Saving on average over $458K annually, resulting in being recognized by Arizona Showcase in Excellence and providing quality health care services to staff and patients. In my current position, I was able to develop a process improvement systems; Electronic Contract Database for staff to utilized while telecommuting during the pandemic. This electronic systems have been widely accepted and recognized throughout the Arizona Supreme Court. My drive is to know how a system works and what is the full potential that it actually provides employees. With that knowledge and the feedback from peers allows me to develop projects that create a smooth flow of streamlined task. I'm currently enrolled in Purdue University Global IT Management Bachelor studies. I found that with technology evolving and my passion for process improvement I needed to enhance my knowledge behind technology.
