About Laura Voskamp

Strategic communications professional with expertise in social media strategy, audience-aware storytelling, and cross-platform content creation and implementation. I'm currently serving as Communications Lead at Loyalist College, where I focus on using social media to show how small gives us the power to do BIG things. In the last year, I've developed a student content creator program and worked on strengthening engagement across diverse audiences.I previously managed communications and hospitality operations at a community-focused small business. My current passion project is building the bayofquinte.bike community and brand, creating and coordinating content around our 45+ custom bike routes throughout the Bay of Quinte region. I develop and implement social media and newsletter messaging focused on inclusion, education, and community building while organizing cycling events that bring these stories to life. With experience in transforming complex information into accessible narratives, building advocacy programs, and leveraging analytics to continuously refine digital strategies, I enjoy uncovering compelling stories and fostering authentic engagement across social media platforms.
