I’m an English and Language Arts educator with experience teaching at the middle school, high school, and college levels. My passion lies in helping students discover their voice, think critically, and approach learning with curiosity and confidence. Drawing on a background in journalism, I design engaging, real-world projects that build literacy, communication skills, and media awareness. Whether leading a Socratic seminar, guiding a collaborative research project, or integrating technology into writing instruction, I create learning experiences that are relevant, challenging, and empowering. I specialize in-Differentiated instruction for diverse learners, including English language learners and gifted students -Project-based learning and inquiry-driven lessons that connect to authentic audiences -Curriculum design aligned with standards while fostering creativity and critical thinking -Restorative classroom practices that build community and accountability Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to succeed—both academically and beyond the classroom.
