About Laura Wakerley

As a Member Development Lead at NHS Providers, I manage and coordinate multiple member development activities in an events team, ensuring that they are aligned with the strategic priorities and needs of our members and the wider health and social care system.I have a strong background in a programmes team, having worked as a Senior Member Development Coordinator and a Programme Administrator at NHS Providers for over four years. In these roles, I contributed to the design, delivery, and evaluation of various development initiatives. I also developed and maintained effective communication and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, enhancing the engagement and satisfaction of our members and stakeholders.I am passionate about learning and improving, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Canterbury Christ Church University. I have also acquired skills in process improvement, which I apply to my work to optimise the efficiency and quality of our member development activities. I enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, where I can use my initiative and creativity to successfully deliver projects in relation to programme delivery
